Job Title: Microsoft .NET Developer – Legacy Systems & Azure Integration
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Microsoft .NET Developer to support and enhance legacy software systems that are critical to our operations. These applications are hosted in Microsoft Azure and integrate with various enterprise systems including SQL Server, SAP HANA via external APIs, and OData services and various other applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with legacy UI frameworks such as Infragistics and modern web UI and be comfortable with both manual and automated deployment methods. A strong understanding of OAuth and modern security practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy .NET applications (e.g., ASP.NET Web Forms, Windows Forms, .Net Core).
· Develop and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
· Integrate with external systems including SAP HANA using APIs and OData protocols.
· Support and improve UI components built with Infragistics controls and modern web UI.
· Deploy application updates to Azure using both manual processes and CI/CD pipelines.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and business analysts.
· Document technical specifications, deployment procedures, and system changes.
· Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. *** RDA added: we believe client will accept experience in lieu of degree ***
· 3+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, .NET core, Entity Framework).
· Strong experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
** RDA Added: Angular required. React a plus. **
· Familiarity with Infragistics UI components, jQuery and modern web UI frameworks.
· Experience deploying and managing applications in Microsoft Azure.
· Proficiency in integrating with external APIs and OData services.
· Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong understanding of OAuth and modern security practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
· Familiarity with SAP HANA integration patterns.
· Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting for deployment automation.

Note: FT hours ideal, but if you have someone with only part-time availability, we will consider
- Must be available to work standard RDA hours of 8:30am-5pm US/ET and have laptop with 16 GB of RAM
Interview Process (all interviews on video):
We are working to confirm but expect the process to be:
#1: 30-45 minutes with RDA Recruiter Pam Barton. Schedule using https://calendly.com/pingpam. Send resume (along with country, rate and availability) but do not wait for resume approval to schedule 1st interview.
#2: 30-minute video interview with the RDA Architect (Steve) who will be conducting project code reviews and an Engineer with Sitecore upgrade experience (David)
#3: Resume and interview results reviewed by VP and PM but no final interview required
